Why did your school decide to invest in Moki Bands?

Our school decided to invest in the Moki mover Bands as a way of inspiring children to move more throughout the day. Also a form of friendly competition and they've all enjoyed it in the past year that we've had it. They've been getting certificates at the end of week shine assemblies, the Moki mover of the week. It's been a really good way of inspiring children to get moving and a fun, competitive way to do it.

In what ways have Moki Bands had an impact in your school?

The Moki Bands have had a really positive impact within our school. On analyzing the data. We've seen a vast improvement in the amount of steps that children are taking in the school day. Children are also just generally more active, especially classes that have been allocated the wristbands for the day or the week. They really enjoyed the friendly competition with each other and choosing and seeing their characters on the platform improving and making progress. And we've also been able to get the statistics and the sort of data to show the children they really enjoyed it really, really encouraged by, you know, their journey when wearing the wristbands been really good.

What advice would you give to other teachers looking to boost physical activity in school?

My advice to other teachers looking to boost physical activities within their school is make it engaging, make it accessible for all children. And easy to follow, for example, using the Moki wristbands popping on a wristband at the beginning of the day. and letting that be that also encouragement from staff and big buy ins from teachers and parents and the ability for children to track their own progress and for it not to just be an adult and teacher led initiative.
