Moki Deployed Across 32 Schools in Abu Dhabi Health & Nutrition Programme

This year, Moki was deployed across Abu Dhabi as part of the Health & Nutrition Programme delivered by the Abu Dhabi Public Health Center, Department of Education and Knowledge and Interact.

More than 5,000 Moki Bands were deployed across 32 schools, helping make movement visible throughout the school day and supporting schools in their efforts to encourage healthier, more active lifestyles among young people.

Through the programme, schools could monitor activity levels, take part in challenges, track progress and celebrate success as part of a wider initiative focused on health and wellbeing.

The programme reinforced a simple but important principle: when movement is visible, measurable and something pupils can work towards together, activity levels increase.

We are incredibly grateful to the Abu Dhabi Public Health Center, ADEK and Interact for the opportunity to contribute to such an ambitious initiative and to support schools across Abu Dhabi in promoting physical activity and wellbeing.

As Moki continues to be used in schools around the world, programmes such as this demonstrate the value of giving educators practical tools to understand, encourage and celebrate movement.
